Understanding the types of safety and health signage.
Safety & health signs are a type of signage specifically to warn people of the hazards and to point out necessary actions. These safety signs suggest mandatory requirement to the use of personal protective equipment, prohibit actions or objects to avoid any unwanted accidents. Some safety signs helps people to identify the location of firefighting or safety equipment, or marking of exit routes in case of emergency.
Many places are required to put up safety signs, like industrial facilities, beaches, areas closed for construction or demolition. Some must follow our Malaysian Bomba requirements, examples Pintu Rintangan and fire extinguisher signs.
